The Andhra Pradesh state government has recently increased the limit of free medical treatment under the YSR Aarogyasri scheme to 25 lakhs rupees. This scheme provides free medical treatment to the needy, and the enhanced plan now covers treatments up to 25 lakhs for about 4.25 crore people.   • The Chief Minister has ordered to pay 300 rupees for follow-up consultation and transportation charges for those who have undergone treatment at Arogyasri to go to the doctor\u2019s consultation again and get a check-up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Similarly, it has been ordered to construct quarters for specialist doctors working in government hospitals wherever necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Chief Minister has ordered distribution of Aarogyasri cards to every household. He ordered to complete this activity by the end of January 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • He ordered to start phase 2 of Arogya Suraksha 2.0 effective from January 1st.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Moreover, the officials have been ordered to take the responsibility of downloading the Arogyasree app on beneficiary\u2019s mobiles if the people have not yet downloaded it on their mobiles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • And the Chief Minister has ordered the officials to provide similar medical services provided to the kidney patients in Uddanam area in the rest of the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
